TorchFI is designed to be privacy-first. All calculators run entirely in your browser — we never see, store, or transmit your financial data. This policy explains what limited data we do collect, how we use it, and your rights.

If you contact us via email, we receive your email address and any information you include in your message. This is used only to respond to your inquiry and is not shared with third parties.

Information Collected Automatically

We may use privacy-focused analytics (such as Cloudflare Web Analytics) that do not track individual users or use cookies.

Local Storage

Our calculators use your browser's localStorage to save your last input values so you don't have to re-enter them on return visits. This data never leaves your browser. You can clear it at any time via your browser settings.

TorchFI does not sell your personal information. We do not share data with third parties. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), you have the right to opt out of the sale of personal information — we do not sell data, so no action is needed.

Data Retention

We retain email correspondence for up to 12 months after the last communication. Analytics data is retained in aggregate form indefinitely. No personal data is stored server-side beyond correspondence.

Data Security

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your data. Since almost all data processing occurs in your browser, our server-side data exposure is minimal. All communications with our server use HTTPS encryption.

Changes to This Policy

We will notify users of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
